I’ve been searching the manual, flipping through settings in the cluster, and for the life of me, i can’t find how to reset the trip meter.

I like to use one for calculating distance per tsnk, and the other for checking distance to next oil change.

Help!

The only way I am familiar with is to go into the meter display edit using the left side steering wheel buttons. Once you scroll to trip A or B you can hold the OK button to reset them.

I must be doing something wrong. I go into vehicle settings>meters>trip a/b , and all it allows me to do is switch between time and distance. Am I in the wrong menu?

Maybe. When the vehicle is on, pressing the LH/RH arrows on the left side of the steering wheel will allow you to cycle through the three customizable meter displays. Selecting the display with the trip meter showing and holding the "OK" button will allow you to enter that meter display and edit the layout. You may also have to use the UP/DOWN arrows to cycle through the different available info options to display the trip meters. Use the LH/RH arrows again to highlight the trip meter. A prompt to reset will appear. The reset does both time and distance.

Huh, maybe it’s a Canada/US thing, but I don’t get those different selections. I’m probably doing something way wrong, so I’ll keep banging away at it.

Hero status to @EVOTACO pictures really helped me try and work on this. I’m going to have to sit for a while and see what’s what. Thanks brother!

It’s overly complicated. Toyota software UI sucks.

Try and find a video. If you can’t find one on the subject, maybe I’ll make one on the next fillup.

Interesting. Didn't really think about the possible US/Canada differences. They might just be turned off. There is an additional ON/OFF toggle menu for the additional gauges available to display.
Same process to get to it as above. Depending which side they are being accessed from.
I have mine on the LH side, but all of the same displays are available on the RH side as well.

Notice the additional scroll lines on the left...

Pressing the LH arrow at this point will open the toggle menu. Use the UP/DN arrows to scroll through the available displays and select OK for the ones wanted. The selected displays will now be available when scrolling with the UP/DN arrows in the previous screens above.

@EVOTACO That did it!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Had to back out of where I was, then I could go to the left and found the trip meter. Awesome. Have a virtual beer on me.
