Warping door cards

Both driver and passenger door cards seem to be warping on the top. Looks like a wave where you would rest your arm.
Yellow line for reference. It was hard to get a good picture.

While I like the truck, the door panels seem especially cheap. The interior grab handle flexes so much when using it to close the door.

My door panels have scratched super easily and inexplicably in places where I don’t even touch them! I had the driver’s side replaced under warranty but now I just gave up as the scratches just reappeared.
Overall I am happy with my truck, but wish I’d had a chance to experience the legendary Toyota quality of the early 90’s era I’ve heard of.

I have a limited and this has been present since day one. I also have the lose lumbar support and bed rail trim issue. Stop start and hold also don’t work very well. Happy with the truck overall but it’s got quite a few minor issues already.

Mine look the same, I think that is because the panel is too thin and lacks the support on the back, hopefully it does not get worse. I definitely going to get an extended warranty that covers everything just in case, because I doubt that the dealership or Toyota will do anything about it now. They still figuring out a fix for the latest recall about the instrument panel, but I still love my Taco.

Ya, my panels are scratched to all heck too. Most from my wedding ring I think.

Im not having warping issues, however i can see how the whole interior is suseptible to scratches i think the plastics are shit in our trucks…im just really aware and very careful……as for the warping i wonder if this is happening to guys in very hot conditions like out west..i have ceramic tint to keep cool, but im also not out in the west where its really hot , good luck guys
