Many thanks. Another reason to remove. Who the hell would buy it though?
Lol I considered ! I'm just not sure. Could post on the forum marketplace, would probably go at a reasonable price. People in my area have them up for $400 to $1000. The higher prices ones have just been sitting though.

A little high for poor New Mexico, but hey it's free money since we have to have it when buying new. My White Trailhunter is due at the end of January. I like a roll up tonneau like I have on my Gladiator like the BAK tonneaus. I've owned five Tacomas since 1999, but went Jeep and I'm sick of 11-12 mpg, and two batteries dying and Jeep saying "meh".

Thanks for the info.

Oh man, sorry about your jeep! My wife has a wrangler and it's been awesome. It's the 4cylinder so 25mpg on the highway. 50K miles no issues 🤞

But the trailhunter is WAY cooler.
I got your wheels...

Yeah, I had a 73 CJ-5 I bought new for $3400.00! I had it for 15 years through college and grad school, so I went back to jeep in 2023. We're a Toyota family though, and our RAV4 Prime did it for me. The Trailhunter is also 5" shorter than the Gladiator Rubicon, and it cost about they same as the TH. The Gladiator Rubicon with front and back lockers was a plus, but I really wanted a hybrid. Jeep said they were going to make a PHEV Gladiator, but after the last election gave it up. So, Toyota gets my money. I should get my white TH the end of the month. I like that color blue though. In the desert white or silver is best in the 100 degree summers.

Idk that I'd want a hybrid Jeep. Those batteries are always exploding. Look up some videos; it's wild! I'm not an anti hybrid/EV guy either. I've had a a couple EVs.
Post some photos up when you get it! If I had the money I'd go TH too. Such a sick truck!

I gave my sport bar away, so I could get rid of it sooner

Me. I've loved the look of sport bars since I was a kid. This one was actually designed for the 4thGen Taco, so I think it looks better than any I've seen. Bought one from a member of this forum for $500.

65 lbs isn't even the weight of a teenager or a couple bags of salt pellets. It is entirely imperceptible to the performance of the truck.

I sold mine to a guy who installed it on his brand new white Tacoma in my driveway. I can't recall the exact trim level, but it wasn't an SR5.

I like the way it looks but not sure I would actually install one on my Taco.
