Didn't necessarily sell this 2017 ZO6 so I could get a Tacoma but it's what the new Tacoma is replacing.
Sweet car but a whole lot different than a Taco!

I have loved C7s since the first time I saw one and that Z06 is a dream car for me. Was it hard to let that beauty go?

Yes a lot different for sure. And I already have a modified Jeep Wrangler that is my main off road machine and I already have a full size Ram diesel that I pull everything with... so the Z06 really did fit in well as my "sports car". And yeah I LOVED the power and sound of a super charged V8... and it was a manual! But I put about 5,000 miles on it in the 5 years I owned it. My wife couldn't drive it and I always had to be careful of when and where I drove it. I guess I got a little bored with it and tired of having to pamper it so much - and wanted a project that my wife could drive. Also wanted a vehicle I could take back and forth to Arizona (we have a home there). All that and A guy offered me $10k more than I paid for it 5 years ago... so it actually wasn't that tough to let it go. How's that for a long winded answer?

Great answer - I love a lot of details!

I can understand because I sold my last sports car before buying my Tacoma for mostly the same reasons you did. I just had to ask because IMO the C7 Z06 manual is the probably the best V8, front engine, rear drive sports car of all time.

'23 Subaru Outback Wilderness. It was a great car and I'd get another in a heartbeat, just needed a little more towing cap.

Have no plans for Stitch to go anywhere, any time soon. Just got back from a Jamboree in western Kentucky with him. Thoroughly enjoying our Trailhunter, but there are clearly places Stitch can/will go that the Taco never will.

First post! Coming here from a 2dr Rubi. Needed something with more utility and room (plus me missing trucks), also got a killer deal that was hard to pass up.
