So for those who have a hybrid and are interested in the eibach pro 2R lift kit, I spoke with a guy at eibach today and he told me that they have been working on a lift kit specifically for our hybrid models. Should be released end of May / early June.

UPDATE

Install date had to get pushed back because Dobinson never got their springs back in stock. Decided to change to the OME stock weight springs (3319 up to 440lbs). Shock surplus changed the order right away and I got the requested springs 7 days later.

New install date is 5/31 with the following components:

OME MT64s set to 2.5” front lift coupled with their rear springs to provide 2” lift in the rear. I still wanted some rake

OME UCAs

Dobinsons rear sway bar end links

Timbren ABSTORTNDR bump stops

TRD lift lower knuckle upgrade

TRD lift tie rod end upgrade

Considering the DR KDSS panhard bar relocation kit if the extended end links aren’t enough.

I’ll have some pics and recap for ya!

Install completed! Done 5/31/26 and 6/1/26

I wish it was easier to take pictures/videos AND lead the install but that was not possible. Would have loved to make a legit YouTube vid for you guys and gals.

It was an adventure of a day!!

7am to 4pm

Disassembly was pretty smooth. Except removing the lower knuckle. You either need a wide ball joint separator or an adjustable arm puller. Could not find a ball joint separator at the Oreillys or Autozone big enough so the knuckles didn’t happen, yesterday.

The driver side UCA long bolt was as expected. Removed the intercooler pipe and you can wiggle it out/in.

The TRD tie rod ends are quite a bit longer and will toe out your tires ALOT. Had to get flat bedded to alignment shop where it was first on the rack this morning.

Drove to a buddy’s shop who threw it up on his lift, checked all the torque specs and inspected the OEM knuckles. I saw the abnormal wear pattern reported several places so we did the lower knuckles. They actually changed the alignment quite a bit so I had to do another alignment. Luckily they didn’t charge me for it!

Everything is working great. No change in normal street driving and bumps/dips feel much better.

Pre-install center hub to fender measurement:
Front 21 1/4”
Rear 21”

Post-install: (16 hrs on ground)
Front 24 1/4”
Rear 24 1/2”

I think the truck’s OEM suspension was sagging quite a bit. I do suspect it will drop a little but I’m very happy with how it all ‘ultimately’ shook out.
