Interesting. I actually took the inside triangle piece off yesterday and put some foam under it, and did a few other things and noticed today that the rattle is almost gone, a lot better than it was. I wonder if I put more foam on the outside like you suggest if it will completely take care of it.

Did your rattle sound like it was coming from the b pillar? I might loosen the outside triangle piece tomorrow and slide some foam under. Thanks for the comment, will post a follow up after I install.

It sounded like it was coming from the whole window door area, it wasn't till I was banging on the inside armrest and really following with my ear it was coming from the side mirror area. Yeah I did the inside foam but it didn't get rid of it, it was something about that outside plastic clicking on something as I rode or hit the door. I still get a random more like b pillar clicking but I think it's maybe just sticky from condensation somewhere. But that really annoying one is completely gone

Thanks. I tried to take the stickers off but figured I would just stuff foam padding inside the hole where the wire goes and see if that fixes it. I put some foam inside between the plastic and metal and it seemed to take care of the rattle 50%. If it’s. It better I will take the black stickers off and loosen the side mirror, foam behind it then tighten back up.

Those stickers were on there pretty good. Do you think removing them/messing with them would void any kind of warranty if something comes up? Is it a phiilips behind them or a socket?

I think I just started them with a knife and they peel off easy and stick back on just as good, I'm not sure about voiding the warranty, what would it apply to? It was a socket, I'm assuming 10mm, can't remember. I've noticed those stickers around, underneath too, probably just vapor/dust barriers. You could just use tape if you wrecked one. Anyways the fix worked because I think that black plastic triangle needs the foam, it does the action which makes the actual clicking.

Thanks again, I appreciate it. Took the stickers off, you were right , 10mm socket loosened and installed some foam padding. Will see tomorrow when I take her for a drive to see if it completely took care of the rattle. 👌👍

Good luck, I'm pretty good know with sounds, especially after plugging the control arm up, just occasional creaks and clicks.

Rattle is still there. I didn’t go crazy with the foam, just one piece on the side of the triangle towards the rear of the truck, and one on the side of the triangle toward the front. I’m going to loosen up again tomorrow and load it up to see if it stops. What side would you focus on more, or just the whole thing?
