TRD OR on Method 705 (+35 offset) and Nitto G3 tires (285/70/17) on stock suspension

After weeks of researching tires and finding the wheels I liked most I decided to pull the trigger. The wheels are +35 offset with the tires being 285/70/17. it gives the truck a really nice stance considering it's at stock ride height.

I also learned that you can price match wheels from Amazon with Discount Tire. Each wheel was $319 instead of the $366 MSRP. One thing I noticed is that the wheels have more of a shine than I thought they would. I'm guessing it makes them easier to clean??

No complaints with the tires, the guys at Discount Tire were really cool and brought out a tire so I could pick a sidewall (the sidewalls are different on each side).

I haven't seen a lot of people running 705's so if you are post it below!

Nice! I'm also in San Diego and got the same wheels last week. Love them so far. I took the truck up Otay on Sunday and I'm thinking about going out to Ramona today. Lmk if you're ever up to go out to the desert.

Nice! I personally went with a +25 offset on terra grappler G3’s. A little bit of a wider stance and poke. But anything beats the +55 offset that comes stock.

Totally, have you gotten different mud flaps yet? Those are at the top of my list right now.

I went with Ark mud flaps and I went with the mid versions. They pretty much cover all the poke that +25 gives.

I've got over 20,000 miles on mine (with KO3 tires). I love the wheels. So far I've had one little paint chip but that's not too surprising considering the amount of miles I've driven on dirt roads over the course of the last year. By any chance have you fully compressed the suspension to see if it rubs off-road and fully locked to both sides?

Went with the Method 703 in matte black for mine - 35 offset and 285/70 Nitto Terra Grappler G3's. Perfect offset for this truck IMO.

It does look good. I have the hybrid. Im leaning towards SL tires for the weight. We do some lite off roading here in LA County (Hungy Valley) but I want piece of mind I won't pop an SL tires. So many people review tires that drive in snow but we don't have to worry about that. How do you like the ride on the Nittos?
