Trumgeta tool box solution installed - photo & review

I got this @TRUMGETA box and it is designed to go just inside the tailgate in the corner of the box. It is secured with existing bolts to hold the bed to the frame. I have bed stiffeners, so this want going to work, plus I didn't want to lose access to the existing storage and the 120v outlet. So, superstrut to the rescue. I love that stuff. Now it is suspended from the rack and I have access to everything I want. The box came with predrilled and threaded holes on the top and both sides. It takes #8 fine thread. The box is solid, weighs 50 lbs. It's practically a gun safe with the locking door.

Yeah @TRUMGETA has some cool stuff. Quality accessories.

At least remove those plastic strut nut retainers.... Or maybe replace all the hardware with quality stainless.

Have the strut powder coated.

I would also use these between the strut and the sides of the rail to reinforce and prevent sliding so you don't have to crank down the threaded rod so much.
