Routing usb power under dash for victory dash plate

So I’m looking at this from victory and like the idea of having some mounting points behind the screen

It comes with a dual usb cable and was wondering if any way to run that under that dash section for power or they’re just plugging it into the side of the screen? Would love to have power up there with a clean install

The real question is what is a good in cab switched power source?

Yes. I meant to wire in to the back of it. Not plug into it

You could also pull the power, ground from the JBL removable dash speaker charge wiring and make it really easy.

Nice- I actually looked at tapping into the wire bundle on the back of the screen as that is right under the same panel, but this seems easier, and has less detrimental effects when the cable taps ultimately fail.
