I honestly don't need these, but love Trumgeta as a company.. i already won a giveaway where I got these dope molle racks for my bed that I use every day. They arrived so fast I wasn't even sure what the fedex guy was dropping off until I opened them! Good luck to all who enter!

How does it look? Took me about an hour and a half to install. At first it seemed like the rails were bowed too much, but as you screw them into place, they settled down nicely.

Tungstenisw Congrats... Trumgeta, question for you, On the cross bars that swivel out https://www.trumgeta.com/products/roof-rack-cross-bars-kit-for-2024-2025-toyota-tacoma-double-cab It says capacity 260 lbs and then also 165 lbs dynamic. I would like to mount a large ski box up there on it at times and don't want the wind to shear the rails off the vehicle. Are these two racks similar in capacity and can they hold a skibox that has wind lifting on it?
260# is static, or the vehicle stationary; 165# is dynamic or while vehicle is moving. HTH!

Sorry but I don't think I can advise on this, I won the crossbars but I actually don't work for the company. I do believe the 260 lb is static or non-moving, whereas 165 lb would be the max weight while the vehicle's in motion. Hopefully this helps you out. I do like the product and I wouldn't hesitate buying it.

Hello dear friend, thank you for your question.

Yes, both roof rack cross bars have the same load capacity. They are designed to safely support items such as a large ski box, including situations where there is wind lift while driving.

The 260 lbs rating refers to static load, and 165 lbs is the dynamic load capacity, which applies while the vehicle is in motion. As long as your ski box and its contents stay within the dynamic load limit and are properly mounted, the racks are stable and secure, and wind forces will not shear the rails off the vehicle.

If you have any other questions or would like help confirming your setup, feel free to ask,I’m happy to help.
