(still waiting on my red 4 gallon rotopax) and my 95l roam case. At least my recovery boards are green.

Also, I'd leave the Hi lift where it is. Looks cool, easily accessible. A little red looks cool imo.

Casting my vote for raptor lights, light bars, anything westcott, excessive offset wheels, snorkels,and I haven't seen this one mentioned yet but I never understood slapping those American flag decals on something that's from a Japanese company. Go buy a Ford and get that standard.

I love the red on white, but I also love "loud".

I personally really like the customization of vehicles, always cool whatever random stuff people do, especially if the car looks nothing like it would otherwise.

Ummm. Ditch lights in Alaska are legit. Moose graze just off the highway in the ditches and magically pop out on the road at 65 mph. You loose every time.

I’m one of those Limited guys. I didn’t delete all the chrome, though. I just toned it down.

The 3rd gen did it right by using chrome to highlight certain areas instead of the “all chrome, all the time” look.

The grille is untouched, and so is the lower valance. I wrapped the door handles in a color-matched finish since new OEM handles are too expensive. I swapped the mirror caps for OEM, color-matched pieces. I replaced the chrome TACOMA lettering with black lettering. And since I couldn’t stand the chrome tailpipe extension, I Plasti Dipped it black.

The Limited follows the same formula other manufacturers use for “Limited” or “Luxury” trims: chrome mirror caps, door handles, grille, lower valance, etc. The real abomination is the plastic chrome wheels. It’s such an obvious cost-cutting move. Embarrassing. They’re my winter wheels now. I picked up a set of 20-inch 4Runner takeoffs, which are the wheels that should’ve come on it in the first place.

And like most Limited buyers, I wanted specific features that only came on the Limited. The TRD Off-Road has options I’d never use since I don’t off-road, and the Sport is the same story. It's a street queen that has the chops for Maine winters and haul and tow anything easily when that time comes. I call it OEM Plus. I'm good with it.

Can confirm. 5100s are worth the small investment. Even if you don't want any front lift, ride is awesome.
