Finally did the dang thing and swapped my TRD OR lights with the TRD Pro headlights from a 4Runner. Loving the amber DRL. Install was super simple, everything is plug and play (no extra harness is required.) And if you’ve taken your bumper off before, it’s faster the second time. Took about 40 minutes.

You only live once. It’s only money, might as well make your truck how you want it…..

Looks amazing. Last year bought the Pro headlights on sale. One of my favorite mods so far. 😁😎👍🏻

Does the headlight angle adjustment feature also work on the 4runner lights?

I was told it fully does. However, the scrolling is reversed for some reason. It does not affect funtionality.

Welp. Now I need to keep an eye out for these sales. I just got my first Tacoma yesterday and was looking at the cost for the Trailhunter/TRD Pro taco lights to get the DRLs but hot damn that amber though.

If you haven't used the GR owners code you can use it once logged into your acct and get 25% off + free shipping. I know Gresham Toyota takes it and has no tax. GRob25Q324

I’m literally one day in to Toyota ownership so I’m getting up to speed on all the terms and acronyms. But if I may, what is a “GR owners code” and where/how would I use it?

feel free to PM me so we don’t clutter the thread.

I know you said this is a plug and play conversion, but how do the high beams function? Is the second projector on each side now the high beam, or is that just a dead projector?

Inner projectors turn on with the outer projectors for the high beams. Outer projectors by themselves work as your low beams. Amber strip is your DRL, turn signal, parking lights, and hazards and is on pretty much all the time so long as the headlamp stalk selector is not set to OFF and you have the DRL option activated in your vehicle settings.

Activation of high beams operates the same as stock headlights by pushing forward the lever on your steering wheel or with the auto high beams function.

Awesome, thank you for clearing that up! I've seen a few posts about the conversion but never mentioning the high beam / showing them on.
