Yep…and on that trip, we loaded the truck bed and the Bean for a 5-nighter. Pic was taken in Santa Ynez. I pulled over to check the load and tarp. Had a bed cover on order.

Overloaded root balls of Green Mountain Sugar Maples, over 1 ton in the bed. Drove it home about 45 miles away from the nursery.

Hauling this TS-142 fully in the bed with tailgate up was always catching eyes. Driving up was easy with that tailgate of 3rd gen. I would push it down though for unloading. Did this once a month for a few years until home was built.
