Already done. New boot goofin!

I just wanted to say thank you to @simpletire. You've also earned a customer. Everyone should sign up for their giveaways, that was the most straight forward and painless process I've ever experienced with any business. They didn't ask for any weird personal info, for money up front, or that I proceed with any odd or arduous process. Just an email for a Rep. to reach out to, who then asked for a quantity and size of tire to send. I asked for 5 285/75r17 tires (for a full size spare), gave my address and linked the ones I wanted from their website. From the moment I hit send on that email, the tires were at my house in less than 24 hours! Which is honestly crazy to me. I've shipped tires from Ebay, Amazon, Custom offsets, ect, and it is never that fast. All take a minimum of a week. Many retailers require freight shipment which requires I unload the truck in the street, set times, and depending on the size; supply heavy equipment or a dock. They shipped via FedEx overnight to my door.

Despite the review I had linked earlier in the week about A/T tires, and their refusal to review them based on past experience. I chose to go with Toyo A/T III in load range C. I did so, because when you're talking about name brand tires that are at this level, that negativity is not as bad as it seems. The gap between all these tires are very close, the worst is better than the off brands on their best days. In this sizing, selection is more limited.

I went with Toyos because of their weight. The top 3 factors which reduce fuel economy the most are; driving habits, wind resistance, and rolling weight. You fellas, (and lauren) need not fret about picking up those bigger girls at the bar on Friday costing you at the pump. Bolting 800 pounds to your truck is the equivalent of having you and 3 of your fat friends on a road trip.

These bad boys come in at 59lbs. The wheels are SCS blaze 10s coming in at 22lbs. Bringing the total to 81 lbs per corner. OE is 65lbs per corner. That's an increase of only 16lbs per wheel/tire. To put that into perspective, the most popular tire on this forum by far, appears to be the Falken At/4W in E range. Which comes in at a whopping 70lbs PER tire. Just the tire. Toss in a set of Methods weighing up to 30lbs in that size and you're at 100lbs per corner.

There will of course be more pics to come in the future, after my trucks had a bath (it was a 12 hour long road trip for those wheels, lots of bugs). But thanks again to @simpletire for making it all possible!
