We are aware of the issue. I have yet to hear from a person who put 17s on a hybrid that had an actual problem but at some point I’d like to get a solution just in case.

The 285/75/17 Toyos were my other possible choice with greater diameter than my current tires. That could be my next tire for the TH. It will be a close fit though.

Yup. I wanted the taller sidewall and options of a 17” wheel. I have the OEM just in case I need to switch back. So far no issues with brake lines after 11,000 miles.

My transmission fluid is usually low 200s but I’ve seen it hit 220 or so.

I think 37s are more than plenty / with 40+” tires the gear strain will be pretty severe unless you regear / also will be lots of strain on various components
