  1. Trailhunter MPG

You can ABSOLUTELY max your MPG with a chin spoiler, light tires, etc. I just personally don’t care about MPG on a truck like this. But it’s cool you have proven the concept. I always wonder why F150s get better mileage.
  2. Trailhunter MPG

My long term “no bullshit” average is 18.2 — that is with me not paying attention and driving somewhat aggressively when I want to — I use premium fuel
  3. Are the Trailhunter's springs different from other 4th gen models?

I think they are def the stiffest of any Tacoma trim
  4. Tire pressure screen reset - when will there be a TSB?

It’s wild this isn’t resolved in a routine software update
  5. Tire Size and Load Rating - Best Match for Trailhunter on 17" and 18"

I hate super heavy tires so I need to compromise somewhere - for me I am happy they gave a large tire a break from the super insanely heavy Duraspec. I’ve got a sidewall patcher and I’d trade the extra security for better road handling. I was specifically looking for a non duraspec and non E...
  6. Tire Size and Load Rating - Best Match for Trailhunter on 17" and 18"

Good analysis. I agree. I’m getting the 35” itch. My plan, at some point, is to revert to my OEM wheels and get 35x11.5 Falken AT4W C load, 2 ply, coming in at only 62 pounds. I’ve not seen anyone go this route but they look perfect and aren’t too heavy and not an E load.
  7. Bad Head-on Collision Accident, and I walked away!

So were your crash pads still on the truck behind the front wheels? Would be good to know for those of us considering taking them off for bigger tires.
  8. Method 703 wheels + Toyo Open Country A/T III 285/70/17 tires installed

And weight which does really matter, but don’t blow the extra money unless it’s something really important to you. You can totally stick with your stock wheels.
  9. Need some guidance changing from OEM tires

Perfect poke - nothing crazy - but my fenders and wheel geometry are slightly different on the TH so it may be more poke on your truck
  10. Tire choice help

I run AT4W in SL and love the look and performance. They also run wide which I love. I will add that for SLs the sidewalls are thick as hell and super tough. In fact I could not tell much difference from the E loads when I looked at them at DT.
  11. Trailhunter - Replaced the OEM Rim Protectors (Tires) w/ Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T LT275/70R18 (34")

This is a very heavy 3 ply tire so it may just be par for the course in terms of driving characteristics - I would use the online tools available to determine PSI. I believe the correct pressure would be 36 or 37 psi if I recall correctly but I can look it up later. Higher PSI = rougher ride...
  12. Trailhunter - Replaced the OEM Rim Protectors (Tires) w/ Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T LT275/70R18 (34")

By the way this is a 33” tire — either 33.2” or 33.4”
  13. Alignment Specs

Why are my spec ranges wildly different? I want to take my truck to a custom shop but I cannot tell them the precise spec ranges since every person who posts is posting something different. Does each trim / year have its own spec range ?
  14. Alignment Specs

So does this show the 24 or 25
  15. 285/70/17 tires with or without lift?

I’m looking on the website - where did you find the wheel weights?
  16. 285/70/17 tires with or without lift?

What rims are that light? RRW? 78 pounds combined is really good. I’m only slightly under that at 75 or so. I’d say I am not far off what you’re getting in MPG. Maybe slightly better around town, like 18 or so. I would not go to C load just for a couple miles a gallon. I’d only do it for...
  17. 285/70/17 tires with or without lift?

I have SCS Blaze 10 wheels that are only 22lb and standard load Falken 285/70/17s that are 53 pounds
  18. Best PPF available?

I’m a huge fan of SunTek and had it on my Pro and now on my TH — but remember that the skill of the application is as important as the quality of the film — I cannot overstate this fact — find a true pro and don’t go cheap
