  1. Will there be a 34 x 10.50R17 KO3 or AT4W?

The Falkens in 285/75/17 are actually 34.1” which is a badass size as it’s true to size and not something less - the Toyo 34x10.5 are actually 33.5” — only question is fitment
  2. Will there be a 34 x 10.50R17 KO3 or AT4W?

The 285/70/17 size is solid and comes in SL and C in Baja Boss and Falken - but like you I would like something taller. If I could fit a 285/75 I might try that - I think Toyo OC at3 comes in the size you are seeking
  3. Will there be a 34 x 10.50R17 KO3 or AT4W?

No because they love making sizes that are almost ideal but not quite — and then making everything an E load
  4. Back with a new Tacoma from the Land Cruiser Forum

I loved the fancy ass LC when I test drove it but I wanted the bed and the rugged feel of a pickup. Welcome back. Did you trade in the LC?
  5. Purpose of rear locker in 4wd only?

That’s my style too. Go until you need to use an off-road feature. I use my locker on a somewhat regular basis. The use case for me is almost always a steep grade on a trail or property with loose rock where 4LO alone isn’t getting the job done because of uneven torque distribution. The...
  6. 2024 TRD Off Road iforce Max Engine Noise When Accelerating - Concerning?

Lol. Mine makes a weird clunking/dong sound after I turn it off. Not sure what it is. The sounds are just entertainment at this point. Not super concerned.
  7. Skinny Mudflaps = Rock Chips on Bed & Fender Flares

Wow. The whole truck? That’s usually a 7K job. Just make sure it’s a good installer. If it is, jump on that.
  8. Skinny Mudflaps = Rock Chips on Bed & Fender Flares

I put on some 11mm PPF - Suntek Ultra Defense - works amazingly well so far - just in that one spot
  9. 2024 TRD Off Road iforce Max Engine Noise When Accelerating - Concerning?

“Cornucopia of noises” is just such a perfect way of saying it ?
  10. 2024 TRD Off Road iforce Max Engine Noise When Accelerating - Concerning?

I feel like I’ve heard that sound from my truck but maybe not as consistently. It’s a noisy fucking engine with a variety of notes. Tagging a fellow member who has had some odd noises as well. @Gfenza89
  11. Need some guidance changing from OEM tires

I got the Blaze 10s in bronze. 22 pounds. I’m super happy with my decision and if I want to experiment with wheels and tires, I’m gonna do it. Life is short. Shouldn’t bother anyone what I do.
  12. Need some guidance changing from OEM tires

Unfortunately. I’m going to stop responding. I really like this forum and would like to keep it cool. It baffles my mind that someone would get upset that some other person bought wheels or tires.
  13. Need some guidance changing from OEM tires

    Why be a dick?
  14. Need some guidance changing from OEM tires

Yeah yeah whatever. You and my wife are just haters.
  15. Need some guidance changing from OEM tires

I agree unless that weight translates into a larger size or thicker sidewalls
  16. Need some guidance changing from OEM tires

Agreed on all 3 points. 1) 75s will probably rub, 2) Baja boss are lightest at 48 pounds and 3) E rated sucks (I have them now — stiff). My question is why are the falken SL so much heavier than the baja boss (53.3 vs 48 pounds). The Baja boss has deeper treads (18.5/32 versus 14/32). The...
  17. Bed stiffeners in Trailhunter?

I thought the full ARB bed rack kit comes with stiffeners - the trailhunter display model at SEMA or one of those shows had stiffeners on the truck with the full rack and RTT
  18. Need some guidance changing from OEM tires

I just ordered some Blaze 10 bronze SCS wheels in 17x8.5 +20 for my Trailhunter. I like the 17” tire options better than the 18” options. I’m down to 3 tires: 285/70/17 Falken AT4 - 32.8 to 33” depending on load range (SL or C) 285/70/17 Baja Boss - 32.8” to 33” depending on load range (SL or...
  19. 2025 Tacoma NHTSA Crash Test Results & Videos

This is helpful thanks. Can anyone find the roof strength test ratings or know when they will be conducted? On the third gen the roof could take 4.13X the weight of the truck and it was considered good. Given this truck is heavier the roof would need to be even stronger to have the same...
