I'm confused. On my truck the upper part of the tailgate sheet metal is painted black, and on the top there is a plastic cap that says "TACOMA". Is that just an AI hallucination, or is my truck different than other Pros?

If you mean the plastic top cap I think it is the same on all trims - mine just says TACOMA.

It is starting to sound like an alignment might be a good idea, although this will be the first Toyota that I have had to get aligned so early. If 4th gens are out of alignment at low miles it seems like they were probably built that way. If so, why isn't the alignment covered by our warranty?
