I agree @bitflogger, lots of 8/10 speed automatics have similar problems. Mine had some odd shifts and a few scary reverse engagements when it was below 1k miles, but now it is mostly fine. I have no idea what changed but as long as it stays the way it is I am a happy camper.
All vehicles pull slightly to the right because of how roads are constructed with a crown in the center. That is something we all should be used to and I assume the discussion is about a greater pull to the right than that. My truck tracks as straight as my other trucks/cars have and it would be...
Congrats, your truck look sweet. There is a very good reason the first 4th gen Pros shown were white!
Have fun tomorrow and share your first impressions. Mine still impresses me every time I drive it.
As @USMCFlyr points out some 4th gens have this problem and some do not. That tells me there is something wrong with your truck @cranny. I wouldn't worry about the exact temperature of the fluid, but if it is going into limp mode climbing a grade it isn't much of an off road truck, is it? Plus...
Thanks for the info! I was just surprised because my wife has a two color 2023 Toyota product and her sticker just shows the code for each color and mine does not show either one.
I have the same question. The mod has to have caused a problem and all the Icon plate does is prevent one. It would take a lot of balls to say reinforcing the factory top hat caused it to fail.
Nope, no metallic in my paint either. I saw one touch up listing for 4ZO as a three stage metallic and mine is totally clear. That is another mystery for me with the Terra paint code.
I just checked my truck, and the paint code is not like any I have seen for previous Toyota products. Maybe that is because it is two tone?
On the jamb it is listed as 2ZX and when I search for that I find this:
Welcome back to Toyota world from another long time fanboy. Your truck looks great right out of the box and I would love to see what you have done with it.
@Administrator Is threatening other forum users OK here? In @Btrocc's last couple of posts he openly attacks people for calling out his irrational rants. For the most part this forum has been free from that kind of nasty behavior, which I really appreciate.
I think the OP should head over to...
OK- if they claim it is within tolerance then you are probably out of luck. If it can't be adjusted then I don't see what you can do. I guess you could loosen the fasteners on all of the rear axle suspension links, try to move the axle where it should be and tighten everything up again.
Maybe...
Yeah - I find this guy irritating as hell. He makes videos with personal opinions and made up bs just to get clicks and make money.
I have no idea why people think he is some kind of genius, and I really don't care what he thinks about anything. Four minutes is longer than I can take looking...
@james cole If your rear axle is misaligned and your dealer can't fix it, it seems like time for Toyota corporate to get involved. It sounds like they screwed up your truck when they made it, and I would raise hell until they either fixed or replaced your Pro, particularly at that price. If it...
My truck seldom loses CarPlay anymore but relaunching it with the voice command "Hey Toyota - launch Apple CarPlay" always works for me. On a few occasions the reply was iPhone is not connected, and the command "Hey Toyota - connect iPhone" has always restored it. I see people shutting off their...
You can restart CarPlay with a voice command - quick and easy and no menus to navigate. If your phone is disconnected you can also reconnect it with a voice command.
Like @mikeymtbs I never have any problems with CarPlay. I am running 18.4.1 on an iPhone 15 and it never disconnects. It is really strange that for some of us it is perfect and for others it is flaky as hell.
