Prior to my Tacoma, my daily driver was a 2023 Subaru WRX Premium. It was a flawless vehicle, never so much as a hiccup, and an excellent, fun daily driver. I consistently returned 31 mpg in the summer and 30 in the winter with the window sticker showing 23/26 city/highway. I will miss that car...
That looks really good, Jeff. Sometimes the SR & SR5's look cleaner & better than the more pricey trim levels.
Howdy from a fellow manual transmission enthusiast. ?‍♂️
When I ordered mine they flagged them & put a hold on the order as not fitting the Tacoma based on the VIN. I had to email them explaining that the 4 Runner & Tacoma share the same platform, & included screenshots from other dealerships advertising the same part #'s for Tacomas before they'd...
They look great. That's a great price on them, too. The cheapest I could find them online was $114.
I want the skid plate too, but goodness gracious is Toyota ever proud of them. ?
I think it'll be fine. I see zero offset trucks on here and they look really good, and +18 is just over 1/4" more sticky outy than +25 wheels. ?
That amount is inconsequential.
It depends on what you like. +25 would be about all that I would want, but it's nowhere near enough for other folks. And too much for others. You just have to look at photos in the build threads, wheel offset threads, etc, and figure out what suits your tastes, wants, and needs the best.
If they are +18 offset, they will have less "poke" than 0 offset. Stock TRD Off Road wheels have +55 offset. +35 gets you about even with the outside edge of the wheel flare, +25 sticks out just a little, etc.
Are you sure the truck isn't on the website under the permanent VIN? The page with the truck information and the temporary VIN is deleted as soon as it's built. Mine showed up for a few days with the permanent VIN, but also then went missing before I actually picked it up. I wasn't able to go...
Go to the dealership website and look up your truck. It will be there under a different URL than the page your truck had when it had the temporary VIN. To give you an estimated timeline, mine was built April 16 at the Guanajuato plant, and arrived at the dealership in Maryland (near DC) on May 12th.
I'd be interested in them, but I'm not local. if you want to figure out what would make it worth your time & effort to ship to 26719, let me know. If you still want to wait for a local sale, I understand. PM is fine if you prefer.
I assumed it's possible, I've just never heard of it. It sounds like an upsell tactic more than anything. It seems like there would be way too many variables if the vehicle was not positioned on an alignment machine with the appropriate sensors attached and the specific parameters for the...
