What did you drive before your Tacoma?

Prior to my Tacoma, my daily driver was a 2023 Subaru WRX Premium. It was a flawless vehicle, never so much as a hiccup, and an excellent, fun daily driver. I consistently returned 31 mpg in the summer and 30 in the winter with the window sticker showing 23/26 city/highway. I will miss that car.

I also have a 2003 Ford Ranger 4.0 V6, 5 speed manual that I bought new. I did the 41st oil change on it this past weekend. 205,000 miles and it has never failed to start or left me stranded. It has been a very good truck.

2016 SR 4x4 with 6-speed auto and 4.30 rear gearing. Had only 6 miles on her when I picked her up.

All stock suspension, just mounted 265/75 on factory 16's.

As far as trucks go, I had a proper grandpa-spec gold over tan 99 Ranger (literally from my pa), moved up to an 03 F-350 Super Duty, a 21 Tacoma TRD with the manual transmission, and most recently a 23 Rivian R1T, which I recently sold. Feels weird being truck-less for right now!

And in regards to non-trucks, don't get me started. I've had some incredibly weird cars in the last 2 years alone hah!

2016 F-150 SuperCab Race Red 5.0. I had buyers regret after I trade this on the 2020 Taco. But I got over it when the resale of Tacomas went through the roof during and after Covid.

2007 Tundra with the smaller V8. Bulletproof truck, same model as the one that Toyota bought back after 1M miles. Would have never sold it except that it was RWD, caused many white knuckle trips in WYO.
