This didn’t even enter my mind as a possibility but I’ll check - for me it happens with vertical movement - just need to figure out how to test this possible source
Sounds good - I’d go to a top notch alignment shop armed with OEM spec ranges and get that castor right— most folks have too little room in the back and ample room up front. I recognize my TH has more room up front because of the bumper shape but that only comes into play with 34-35 inch tires...
Your castor is way too positive ! There is no way you should have 1.5” in the back and rub up front (at full lock). I for sure don’t have that much space in the back - I got about 1” in the back at full lock on 285/70/17s.
I agree - what blows my mind is when I drive on the highway it genuinely feels like a sports sedan in terms of both power and handling — and then when I park the truck and look at it, I see a 5400 pound brick with 12-14 inches of running clearance and I am incredibly impressed by how toyota was...
yup I got the same bracket - it’s not bad - I think I had to drill a little bit because the screws would not properly purchase into the plastic bumper
I thought that was it. Added felt. Tucked them behind the clip. Even clipped them into the receiver. Nothing works. What it seems like is the assembly components either in the top or bottom are just loose (when I jiggle them they make the same sound) or something is loose behind the pillar...
