All brackets, bolts, etc. included. Perfect condition. August manufacture date. Houston pickup. $700 OBO. (Please disregard the old bulkhead bar at the bottom of the photo - all components for the sport bar included. Thanks!)
Anyone know the front / rear axle weight distribution on these trucks? For the hybrids I would imagine it's closer to even because of the battery, but I still would think the rear axle is less weighted than the front. But I am not sure.
@StreeTaco - Could you tell me what PSI you run on your E load hi country tires? I dropped down to 33/34 from 38 initially then 35/36, now all of a sudden my tires are way more comfortable..not sure if it’s my imagination but just a few PSI made a massive difference. Wondering how low I can...
Anyone else experience DT ignoring the yellow dot on the tire (lining it up with the valve stem)? They ignored the dot on my tires. They didn’t even know what it meant. I feel like this is lazy as they rely entirely on the road force balancer, resulting in more weights than needed and...
I didn’t get the coverage bc it cost the same as a new tire and I’ll just buy a new tire if I get a puncture. If I get 2 then I’ll lose money. I got an E load so they should be good!
Yellow dot is bugging the shit out of me bc I’m ocd. How did yours line up ?
It’s enough for most people. If they had SL in my size I would have done it. Yes the extra toughness is great and I appreciate it, but not worth the weight and stiffness if there is an SL option for me. I had SL Falkens on my 22 Tacoma and did a lot of off-roading (not Moab levels but pretty...

Aired down to 35. Did not feel much difference other than less precise steering. I may go back to 38/39. It felt pretty nice. I’m kinda shocked bc I’ve always been anti high PSI. I ran my 22 pro at 27. And the TH at 30 on the nose. Interested what others think about the Falkens in E and...
So is all that stuff about running E-loads at some minimum PSI to stop sidewall flex just BS? I'd LOVE to run them at 32. I bet that would make them a lot more supple to ride on.
DT wanted to run them at 35. Even Falken didn't seem to think there was a minimum, but I was talking to some lady...
They did the same on both sides. But it's going to bother me. It just seems wrong. The guys doing the work were utterly clueless humans. They had no clue what the dots on the tires even meant. It was horrifying.
Went with the Falken Wildpeak AT4W in 275/70/18. For my setup at least, this is as big as I can go before I hit rubbing. And the size looks appropriate and plenty meaty. They ride very smooth. Shockingly smooth for an E load but still firmer than OEM. I will play with the PSI to see if I...
I think it's the rear lower control arm mount. The shock mount is closer to the wheel. This mount is attached to the axle. It just doesn't look like the thin metal in that spot is designed to carry that kind of load. And now I am freaking out trying to determine if it's crooked. I cannot...
Guys I’m having a mild freak out. Discount tire jacked up my truck at a very weird spot from the back. See picture. I cannot tell where they jacked it up in the front but it looked equally cringe. Should I be worried? The metal in that spot does NOT look that thick.
Any idea why the gear ratio is so high? I would think it would be in the fours versus the mid threes, but I don't know much about how this works. I am going up on tire size and want to make sure I don't get too far out of whack. I think our trucks get 3.58 while a ranger raptor has 4.10.
So, I just found out today that Nitto makes recon grapplers in a SL load in 295/70/R18 that weigh a mere 52.5 pounds. That's a 34.3" tire in a really light weight. Anyone know anything about recons? I'm now between a 275/70/18 in a KO3 or Falken AT4W (both just over 60 pounds) or this recon...
