Nothing changed at all. You said "I wouldn't be so certain that a 2-door Xtracab 6-foot bed version for the OR isn't available from the get go. " The get go refers to the launch of this new truck, and I am quite confident its not happening from the get go. The chief engineer specifically speaks...
I am 100% certain because its 100% confirmed there is only the double cab for the OR model. You can get a 5 foot bed or 6 foot bed. If you want the Xtracab, you get leaf springs and 2wd. The Xtracab long bed 4x4 is gone because they dont sell very well.
DC Short bed is 133.5 " now, 4" longer than 3rd gen. <Edited
DC Long bed has a wheel base of 144", its the wheel base of the Tundra.
Overall length of the vehicle has not changed though.
I personally like the interior of the Tacoma better. The screen doesnt match the dash as well, and the steering wheel in the LC is better looking but aside from that the Tacoma is more useful in my eyes. All of the molle panels will be incredibly useful for someone like myself. I can mount a...
From what I understand, remote start become standard on the vast majority of all Toyotas starting in 2020. Theres no special button for it, its a button combo on the fob.
I am also very curious on this inverter situation. You guys are saying on the Rav4 prime you can use some of that power when...
Small town 2 hours from KC? How close are you to Springfield MO? They could possibly get you one sooner.
As far as the TRD off road, it shouldnt be long, as they have given Youtuber Tinkerers Adventure access to one for a while. So we should start seeing those here pretty quick. The standard...
Youtube Channel Tinkerers Adventure got a chance to see this trailered TRD off road up close and personal. He said the video wont be out for another few weeks, but if Toyota was going to give any channel the opportunity to see this thing, this guy would be one of the biggest risks if they...
What a crock that its limited on anything. I get some employees might want to flip something from the special pricing, so they should just limit how many vehicles a year.
Haha yeah, I got that too. I have a feeling they will be releasing a little more info around the time of each Overland Expo to keep the hype train going.
Overall the truck is a little shorter, but the long bed wheel base is 7” longer than a Gladiator. The Gladiator can get away with it because a 37” can be fit pretty easily.
When I saw the TH at the expo, the calipers did look pretty huge to me and close to the inside of the wheel. I kneel down and look at it, as I thought I was just looking at a 17" wheel so I didnt pay much attention.
