Selling a blackout overlay for the Toyota Emblem + 4x4 badge.
The limited kit I bought came with these, but only needed the limited piece.

There's a large grommet that goes through the firewall on the driver side - the main harness goes through the center, and then there's a nipple on top and on the bottom. The one on the top has the hood latch cable running through it, the one on the bottom is "capped", but the cap can just be cut...
I'd agree with you on the ADAS piece. It's not a system I'd want to touch. Calibrating ADAS requires super fancy equipment.
The Park Assist system is completely separate from ADAS. It consists of the parking (ultrasonic) sensors. ADAS uses the radar in the bumper and the camera in front of the...
Yeah, real odd. Wonder if some of the hybrids were manufactured prior to March but they just didn't release them for sale due to a quality hold or something. Think the sticker on your door frame should have the build date.
Keep in mind, not all of the holes get plugged. Some of them are for...
I'm surprised your limited (given it's a hybrid) didn't have the plugs. My truck came with them and had a build date in March. I think most of the trucks manufactured after Feb '24 should have them.
Updates!
Managed to get GTS+ working on my laptop and when I working on try to configure the grill camera on my new Heritage grill, there is an option to enable to Auxilary Camera - better known as the WCS camera to us.
When doing so, we gain a new option - the one anyone interested in this...
Costco by me last month had the Mobil 1 0W-20 on sale, bought a few boxes to keep stock for the future.
Personally I have always run the Toyota OE filters. They're about the same price as most of the aftermarket options when bought in bulk, and they don't go bad. So I usually just keep a...
All wired up as of yesterday, here's how I did it :
For the harness, I just used some generic "Niilight" one off Amazon, was about $12. Pretty much any harness that has a DT-style connector will work for the Heretic lightbar, as most lightbars just use this standardized connector.
The switch...
Hopefully the mods don't get too upset with me starting a few different threads, but I think it's best we compartmentalize some of this information for ease of finding it in the future.
As some others may have seen, I decided to do the Heritage grill swap. Now, for those of us that have a front...
Just wanted to share this detail with ya'll - after replacing my front fog trim on my '24 Limited from chrome to black, I also replaced the parking sensors to color match the trim piece (as the sensors on the chrome trim were silver).
I sadly found out that in doing this, it actually requires...
Yeah, the OE shank ones definitely are a no go - conical is the only way to go for most aftermarket wheels. But in the front, I think I only got 5-6 turns on the stock studs using the correct conical lugs. Just didn't seem like enough engagement to be comfortable.
That's why I changed out all...
Nice!! Need more JDM wheel love on the 4Gs. How was the thread engagement on the studs/lugs with your Works? I had to buy and install extended studs (these ones : https://store.shopping.yahoo.co.jp/mkst/hubbolt-kyoei-02-5set.html) to run my RAYS as most JDM wheels won't support ET-style lugs...
Not really, the clips are somewhat annoying but otherwise the install was uneventful. I designed both the lightbar bracket and the camera bracket from scratch, which took some extra time. But removing the whole front clip was pretty straightforward. There's a couple Youtube videos you can reference.
They're SL's so I believe they're 4-ply, but they don't technically have a ply rating. Falken does make a 10-ply E rated AT4W, but unless you're doing some serious wheeling and want extra stiffness and flat protection, they're going to ride rougher, make more noise, and kill your gas mileage.
Welp, to all you guys paid $300 for the NYTOP crossmember.... $39 bucks from RCI.
Wouldn't be surprised if pretty much everyone canceled their pre-orders

Big props to RCI on their fair pricing.

Real chrome ? Sure :)
Plastic painted in a chrome-like finish? Meh....
I plan to leave my chrome exhaust tip. It's the only real chrome on the truck, lol. Matches the polished stainless lip on my wheels.
I initially considered doing the OE handles, but they're really expensive and I didn't want to pull off the door cards and whatnot. So I did the adhesive ones - they make a few different versions, one that covers the whole handle, and one that only covers the outer portion of the handle. The one...
Still got em, just sitting stacked up in my garage. Thought about selling them, just haven't gotten around to it. Or maybe I'll keep em if I ever want to RTS.
Figured I'd post my progress on my blackout build for my '24 WCP Limited.
Was between the TRD Sport & Limited when I was buying my truck, but was never a fan of the scoop. So, I needed to figure out how to get rid of the chrome, and quickly :)
After 3 months and approximately 5K miles, love...
