1:24 Scale Diecast 2024 Tacoma Models Now Available

It has a V6 engine . I guess trying to model the 2024's 4-banger is almost impossible...

I wonder why they didn't spend the extra money and update the engine to accurately reflect the 4th gen Taco ? ? ?

It's primarily a pull-back toy car. But a very nice one, to a point where it can pass for a model. From that perspective, the engine is a minor detail. It has other nice touches, like working suspension and even folding-back mirrors! The interior seems to be modeled quite nicely.

Hey it could be a fun project, trying to take it apart and fabricate a 2.4L turbo. Probably nothing under that engine cover,
Mine don’t have a sunroof so I’d have to plug it and paint but lots of other things to spend time on instead ?. I have two Solar Octane Off Roads coming. One for a 2 1/2 year old who likes to help uncle wash his truck and one for the 7 month old truck ?.

As bad of a rage bait it is, I have to understand his frustration, especially dealing with Canadian builds ?. Toyota really should get with the times and offer custom builds, having to settle for a $60,000 truck is sad.

I think this diecast manufacturer is done making Tacos. I too was hoping for a TRD Sport model but ii settled for a BlueCrush OffRoad.... 3 of them actually.
