The mudflaps are not that big of a deal. I installed the shorter ones Arks and it’s just fine after having been on a 16 day trip in the mountains and deserts of Idaho, Colorado, and Utah. What is probably more important is to replace the Toyota splash guards in the front wheel wells with Ark splash guards. Florida swamps are brutal.

Mine survived Moab! They did deform considerably but came back every night, and lost screws in the front.
