I couldn’t keep this under wraps any longer, so here it is: Portal Pro.

The truck went through some major changes this week. I spent the last couple of days over at Mill Creek Automotive while they installed my 74Weld portals along with a few other upgrades. There’s still more to come on that later.

First off, huge thanks to Albert and everyone at the shop for letting me hang around, take photos, and jump in where I could. There’s honestly no other shop in Nashville I’d trust with a job like this. They handled every curveball like absolute pros.

And as for the truck itself… just look at it. This thing is an absolute beast now.

4 inches of additional ground clearance, regear, stock CV angles, OEM alignment — it’s hard not to be impressed.

The team at 74Weld really builds some incredible products. Once you see the quality in person and get the parts in your hands, the price starts to make a whole lot more sense.

I just wrapped up a 300-mile round trip with the setup, and I’ll be doing a more detailed write-up soon covering cost, first driving impressions, and everything else that comes with it.

For now, I just wanted to finally share it.

100% they are. Once people realize how much work this takes out of doing multiple projects, and all that comes with it - it’s gonna be a favorite for many people.

Got the Goose Gear 60% seat delete installed also. Love the product but their instructions could use some work. You can read a short review, and quick installation tips here.

Overall, love the product. I think it’s so sleek. I had a DIY seat delete for my 3GT, so I already knew this was going to be on the top of my list to do.

Was there any particular reason for going with Goose over CargoKits? I want to do this but haven't decided which one to go with. Also, what would you guys charge for the install? I'm here in Franklin and don't have the tools or the space to do it. Thanks and digging the Mudbath's!

I actually didn’t even know about cargo kits until recently a buddy told me about them. I know where they source their material, and I will confirm - it is quality stuff.

I’m supposed to meet with them to do some test fitting for the hybrid pros. I don’t have an opinion one way or the other on them vs goose gear.
