Who is running a 285/75 on their stock trd off-road rims? Do you have any clearance issues? Any regrets not just buying new rims? Pictures would be great if anyone has some. Im just trying to decide if I should spend the money on rims or put that cash towards coilovers instead of getting lift springs.

I am; no regrets. I have no problem with the OEM wheels. I don't do any difficult trails, just mostly dirt and small rocks. Stock TRD OR suspension and the oem side steps have a bit of damage from a few scrape in the dirt but they aren't sliders.. and probably would bend if scraped along a rock.

That looks great! Are those KO3s? Do you have a full on side view? I'm installing the ADO springs in the front and trying to get a better sense for what the 285/75/17r looks like in the wheel well before the 1.5" lift.

Yes, now 29k on them and I love em. I don’t have a lift or spacers, 100% OEM suspension except I do have the icon top hat things

Did Costco mount them up for you without issue or did you have to take them elsewhere?

I wussed out and got 285/70 17's. They just came in and I'm getting them installed on Friday.

In my defense, I'm out on the island of Kaua'i so there aren't as many resources as there are on the mainland. e.g., on the mainland 88rotors did my Tundra lift/wheels and if they f'd up on the spec I could easily get it corrected. It's not as easy on a small island because of the limited number of vendors.

Oh and when I ordered the KO3's they asked me what truck I had and said, "oh yeah those'll fit no problem".

I will see what they say for me soon I am sure. Digging the large tires on the stock rims and not hitting the UCA or other places.
