Nobody has any info on putting a kill switch on these new trucks and with a hint from 41.22 reminding me fuse taps exist I got to work installing my kill switch, I’m super happy with the result, minus putting a wood screw through a piece of plastic trim.. but whatever
I tapped into the 10amp fuse for the S-Horn which is 12v constant, ran the ground to the bolt holding the front side of the fuse box down and I used the reverse relay out of the box (there’s two relays) it replaces the only purple relay in the fuse box, it's labelled ST for starter relay, I'm keeping the original relay in the truck just in case
I ran the excess wires into the fuse box and out through the side, the cover still fits without modification but its slightly cranky about it
all in all it could be a cleaner install but I can’t see it with the hood closed
