Many of Tacoma owners who had the 4th gen Tacoma miss the grab handle on driver side.Toyota only puts a grab hand on the passenger side in the newest Tacoma. This handle would be a great addition to the truck as you might need to use it in every day life getting in and out of the truck. It’s an extra safety measure to keep from getting injured as well.

The Lexland A-Pillar Grab Handle, one of the most practical and affordable upgrades you can add to your truck!

It would be nice to have a driver-side A-pillar handle without the speaker grill (for non-JBL models).

It would be great to have driver-side and passenger-side true grab hanndles.

I'm wondering if there is a potential to block the airbag discharge due to the additional bolt being placed in for the grab handle and/or separate properly due to a discharge. I'm always leery replacing pieces and parts around functional safety mechanisms.

I'm no expert but this video shows slo mo side airbag deployment that doesnt look like it would interfere.

I don't understand this "grab nub" obsession. Why not make an actual HANDLE that your HAND can HANDLE?

Until it's something like this, I'll just continue to use the steering wheel.

Update. I have reached out to Lexland to cancel the order. I purchased this based on the image on the order page which looks like an open design. My bad for not doing more research but based on the image below does that not look like an open handle? It sure does to me.

We will see how Lexland's cancelation policy works.

yep, they are following the "gimpy nub groove thing" trend that I simply do not understand:
