No I think the guy is just clueless, I don’t think it is “perfectly straight” at .92, I think the guy just kind of doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Because they were telling me all other trucks are closer to 0, the 4th gen Tacoma being the exception. So nothing wrong with their lasers. He’s just saying it is because it turns green. Again, he was trying to argue negative toe are the wheels pointing inward which is false, also was saying that wheel size and diameter affect toe, which is also false. He really has no idea what he’s talking about. Scary part is he does all their alignments lol. I think the Hunter specs for the 4th gen are erroneous, and they just go with it because they don’t know any better. The store manager knew better though; he was questioning it the whole time asking why it’s the first time he’s hearing about it. Even saying he was going to bring it up to Hunter.Welp, who knows. I guess anything is possible, but using that logic then per their specs the values of .82 to .97 are allowable. If .90 is perfectly straight, then .82 would be negative toe (pointed out) and still within spec, which no one would ever want in a vehicle driven on the street. So, yeah, whole thing seems very odd imho!
