Hello everyone! Figured I'd start a build journal as I don't intend to keep my truck stock.

I picked the truck up last week. After driving a Lexus IS500 through almost 4 winters, I decided a nearly 500 HP RWD car wasn't really working for my lifestyle anymore. Even with studded winter tires, the car was best described as passable in winter. I'm in western Canada so we get real winters. Every season, there were a few days where I didn't go somewhere because of the Lexus. Don't get me wrong, it was/is a great car, just not as a year round car in a place where it's not uncommon to get a foot of snow or more in a day.

Anyways, so far, all I've done is add the Toyota three stripes to the front grill. I do have Weather tech floor mats on order, and I'll be ordering some wheels (likely bronze Method 318s) soon. I'll probably do an OTT tune as well.

Sweet! Congratulations on finding the 6MT. It took me almost two years and a bunch of persistence. Save the manuals!
I look forward to seeing where you take this. Just the other day, a friend asked me about trims. I told him, if you're going to heavily customize the truck, you may as well get a Sport and use your savings to fund your modifications.
I love the WeatherTechs. They'll hold several Sorel Artic Pac-loads of slush and snirt without leaking on your carpets.
NICE TRUCK!

Let me echo @HardShellTaco - thanks for saving a manual! My daily is a ‘23 Integra 6MT, although my Tacoma is a snobbish Trailhunter, the diametric opposite.

Your new truck is gorgeous with the Heritage Blue, and I dig those nose stripes…will look forward to seeing new wheel pics and more on your build. Welcome to this forum.
