Anyone put a different air intake on a Trailhunter?

I am seeing other air intakes, such as Stillen, etc. This seems like a good option, and would eliminate the high air intake noise I'm sure, while also adding some power. Has anyone done this?

I've heard of a few that switched to the Stillen. It will lessen the intake noise but you'll still hear the turbo a bit. Supposedly it will increase power but I can't imagine by too much. I haven't looked into any independent Dyno numbers.

Supposedly there is a somewhat common issue of a sensor getting fouled by the oil from the air filter when driving in heavy rain uphill. A few people have replaced theirs with the Stillen and a dry filter to get around this.

I got a Stillen. Completely took the noise away and is great!

Was there anything difficult you had to do with the existing snorkel tube/routing or is it just in the same spot, but "disconnected" from the new Stillen box? I love the snorkle whistle when the windows stay up, but it is just too damn loud if/when you want to open the passenger window.

I’d be interested in a pre-filter cartridge on the OE Trailhunter intake, a mod of some kind or pressfit into where the grate is / curious about maintenance in cleaning out that manifold…. I love the sound, don’t drive with the windows down too much. The design of the intake is on point, if they made it like a goose neck I see on some of these gen 3s would’ve been a no-go. I hope they keep that raked TH design into the gen 5s

Could I bother you to take a picture of your airbox? I’m interested in keeping the snorkel but also take the rubber cap (see images below) at the bottom of my Trailhunter airbox and install the Pro duct work to get more airflow. One pic shows the rubber cap half removed and the other completely removed and on top of the air box. Thanks in advance.
