It seems i have partially implemented Aux functionality.

I have a limited hybrid so i did not expect any Aux wiring. I thought i would have to run wires thru the firewall to add switches.

But the switch connectors are wired and powered behind the 3 switch blanks. However there are no Aux connectors in the engine bay.

So the question is, where do i access the 3 Aux signals in the engine bay ? I'm assuming the 3 Aux wires end up terminated in the fuse box on the driers side where the 3 (empty) Aux fuses are.

Just hoping someone has answers already before i go digging in there.

I don't understand why the auxiliary wiring would be different hybrid vs non-hybrid. Here is a pic on my auxiliary plug next to the washer bottle. Note that I'm plugged in.

I have a limited which is not supposed to have Aux functionality.

The switch wire harness is there but switches, fuses, relays and Aux connectors are missing.

@Baltimore I just found an old thread where you described the same situation. Were you able to make use of the switch wiring ?

No. I ran all new. It's detailed out in a DIY post about heritage grille and diode dynamics light bar.

I tapped the back of the unfinished aux wires for my button illumination though. For me, I had only planned to need the one switch/circuit for the grille light, so not a major deal once I wrapped my head around it.

Thanks for the ideas @Baltimore.

I now have 3 aux wires in the fuse box for use.

I decided to leave the switch harnesses as is - except i tapped into the output similar to how you tapped the illumination.

I only need one switch now but ran 3 wires for the 3 switches. I used hit shrink around the 3 wires as they go thru the firewall. Just poked a hole in the rubber nipple with a scribe and pushed the wires thru. I used a single copper wire taped to the bundle as a leader..

Now I have the 3 switch output wires in the fuse box along with a ground wire i picked up along the way and a red wire for the light bar.

And a disconnect in case the bumper is removed again.
