Best? That is to me a broad, or maybe inappropriate ask for how they can differ.

I will again point out the Fas-Top that may or may not be ideal for owners. I remain extremely happy. Having all in one tonneau and soft topper has been great for me. They have a compatible bed rack too.

Wow it has been nice to have the flexibility, and I've been 200-1500 miles from home when all of a sudden I had a topper. I have standard model and an optional screen window.

This pic shows the tonneau rolled with topper up, and the Fas-Top site has more info.

I have Gator SRX soft tonneau. No water so far, after 6 months, 9000 miles, a few car washes. I park in a garage at home, great price, easy install.

I have the Gator as well. 1 year, no issues. I like that it sits lower than most soft covers.

I went with RealTruck’s BAK Revolver X4ts
I wanted something low profile, that didn’t completely block the rear window or infringe on bed volume, t-slot rails and compatible with a bed rack. Really happy with it.

I have the same cover, X4TS. While it's ok and accomplishes some pretty key metrics (full bed access, doesn't block the back window, t-slot rails) there are a couple things to note:

-It leaks water pretty bad, even with trying to seal it up with extra gaskets and foam tape
-If you haul full sheets of 4x8 sheet product, the latching mechanism on each rail is rather large and intrude against the bed opening width; basically, it will won't allow a sheet of plywood to rest against the (closed) tailgate. You'll need to have a couple 8ft 2x4's underneath the elevate the sheets so everything clears those rail latches
-The more you roll the top and store it in the rolled-up position, the more the rubber strip gaskets along the outer edges of the cover top wear and mark up. Unfortunate this area isn't more durable

Otherwise, ya, great cover...
