Coolant smell

I have a 2025 Tacoma that I’ve had for about 5 month, and about a month ago I noticed a coolant smell under the hood on the passenger side. I took it to the dealer and they couldn’t find any leaks but said it did fail a pressure test. The told me if I wanted to leave it they would “tinker with it some more”, and I said fine but they wouldn’t give me a loner car because there was no point of failure. Don’t know what to do. I marked and dated the coolant tank to keep an eye on it.

Make an appointment again saying your car is behaving strange and ask for a loaner.

Turbo is on the passenger side. Pretty sure it's both oil and water cooled. Maybe it's in that area?

I had a coolant valve failure on my 24. It was obvious with the coolant leaving a bunch of pink crusty spots.

but every now and then I smell coolant and check. It all looks fine

I had the same issue and the dealer found a leak on the connections to the turbo (both supply and return). They replaced the fittings and it has been good ever since. I had the smell in the cab when the turbo was at full boost for an extended period of time.
