So I was installing my RC wheel liners and decided to take a peak for a location to install a compressor. I noticed this large gauge cable feeding the rear cubby in the bed. There is only a 7.5a fuse on this pencil thick cable. I am think this is the same cable they use on the Trailhunter for the compressor but can’t find the schematics on the 4th Gen.

Has anyone found the wiring diagrams online yet?

That looks very similar to the ground wire that I hooked up when installing my Rigid SR-L reverse lights in my ARB Bumper. It was coming out of the pigtail that Toyota provided. It was exactly like that white wire with a black stripe.

It is the same white with black strip but it’s not the pigtail and is several gauges larger.

I see what you are saying as that black wire in the picture is quite beefy too, you might be on to something.

Yes. According to toyota wiring diagrams This is the wiring used to feed the stock compressor (50amp). And it is there no matter the trim as long as you have the bed power accessory port. It just splits off and powers the usb and 12v ports.

If you remove this part (which I did) you can tap into it and feed a compressor (single only)

I ended up installing an ARB dual which required more than 50amp at max pull so I ran my own power wires into the battery.

Hmmm. Next step is to see if there is the switch wiring in the dash. But then again if it has power for the cig adaptor in the back then I am guessing it has either ign power or bat power. Gonna need some more investigation.
