I was at my local dealer last week getting my oil changed and there were several Tacomas on the lot that had the lift kit installed. Didn't seem like any rhyme or reason which ones they wereBump. Is this lift that rare that nobody is talking about it?
PTCCY-35350 I believe. Is there a part number available for the OEM lift kit ?
For what it’s worth. I read on another site somewhere that while being installed at the factory, a spring compressor was used incorrectly and a tech was injured while installing the suspension. That is the reason for the stop sale. Who knows if it’s true, just what I saw. A couple dealers by me have been getting them in on a regular basis. No rhyme or reason which trucks get it, it’s just decided at the plant I guess. I was able to find an Off-road premium with out any extra added crap(like 5k worth) or at least too much. The couple things that were added I liked so it was a huge win for me. I added SCS Ray-10s with a -10 offset. Not everyone’s flavor but I love it. 285/75/17’s with KO3’s
Thank you. I love the look. I’ve had a few sets of these wheels in various colors on my old 2nd gen. Brushed bronze and brushed gold. Those really popped a bit more. This dark bronze is a tad subtle compared to those. That looks really good with white.
Yeah they all look good, just comes down to personal preference. What wheels do you have?I would trade my bronze wheels for polished on my bronze oxide if I had the choice.
SCS Blaze 10 in dark bronze. I like them, I just like the polished better.Yeah they all look good, just comes down to personal preference. What wheels do you have?
https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/thre...gen-tacoma-are-discontinued.14954/post-199291Toyota parts guy here... I have reached out to Toyota earlier already about the lift kit and when it would be available in Canada, and the response I got was in two parts. First, the lift kit was expected to be available for purchase(not factory installed) by end of year. But this changed because of the second part. Tundra lift kits went on stop sale due to the safety hazard surrounding the spring compression tool possibly breaking and causing serious harm. I would imagine this is causing delays on the Tacoma kits as they are prioritizing getting the Tundra accessory lift ready for purchase as a complete shock assembly(instead of in separate pieces). I would imagine the Tacoma lift kit will come like that as well down the line which means they will likely update part numbers and pricing. I would expect something to be available by early next year for an OEM kit.
