First Look: Two New Mabett Tacoma Upgrades Coming in Mid-July

We’ve been heads-down getting a new batch of Tacoma accessories ready, and quite a few Mabett products are expected to go live around mid-July.

Here’s a first look at two of the upgrades we’ve been working on. Keep an eye on Mabett—we’ll be sharing more soon.

Hood Struts

The factory hood prop rod works, but it also sits in the middle of the engine bay when you’re checking fluids, cleaning, or working under the hood

Our upcoming hood strut kit for the 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma replaces that manual setup with gas-assisted support, helping raise and hold the hood while leaving the center of the engine bay open.

The kit uses the factory mounting points for a direct bolt-on installation with no drilling or permanent modification.

The brackets are made from carbon steel with a black powder-coated finish for added strength, scratch resistance, and corrosion protection.

Front Windshield Sunshade

We also have a new front windshield sunshade coming for the 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab.

It is designed for owners who regularly park outdoors and want a practical barrier against direct sunlight and heat buildup inside the cab.

Its three-layer construction combines reflective aluminum foil, a KT-board core, and soft felt backing, while the foldable design makes it easy to remove and store in the cab.
