quick question to you, how did you disconnect the battery? I'm trying to do a switch panel install. Did you take off the whole thing from the negative terminal or just the wire that's attaching to the chassis? Did you also take off the positive terminal?
I disconnected the entire thing because the install called for it and electric scares me. Granted I ran my battery low because I didn't disconnect until I had basically finished and was ready to hook up to power, which was stupid. Negative terminal off first, then positive. Reverse that order when putting it back together. Also note there's a lot of metal under the seat you could easily contact while racheting/wrenching on the battery, consider covering it all up with something before starting to avoid a short.

(I’ve attached a photo with red being the whole thing and green of just the wire to chassis) Did you also take off the positive terminal?

Remove the Red circle. So much easier

I put a plastic cap over each stud once I had disconnected so that they couldn't even accidentally come in contact. Just a generic pipe thread end or furniture leg bottom style cap.

I installed power running boards on my 24 hybrid and now the truck won't start. I'm panicking, checked the manual before and IDK what to do now, any advice? I get power to the cluster, but when I press the brake and try to start it keeps saying parking brake unavailable
How are those electric running boards running so far on the hybrid Tacoma. I installed the wolfbox electric running boards and they work when I first start the truck but after a short drive they stop working. It is so frustrating. Wolfbox is trying to find me a solution and they don't know what's the problem so far. I am asking in case I wind up returning there boards to see what other board are proven to work on the hybrid Tacoma. Thanks in advance.

They have been working great for just over a year now, no issues. I'm very happy with them.
