Well ill admit im a Taco Fanboy…i love em, i Have owned Tacos since i was 18, im 60 . My current taco a 2024 tRD Offroad, the truck meets and exceeds all expectations , its a fantastic truck, those that buy one and trade in after their lease, or get tired of it and move on thats your option, The negative ings that we hear is fine, a few recalls, the soft interior, or “My seat doesnt have memory ….lol. Tell wife to drive her own truck…lol. I have set my truck up how i like it , im looking forward to playing in snow , And i will probably trade for a “Trailhunter in next few years, my miles are very low lol…..5500, Anyway enjoy your trucks guys, Have fun enjoy them, get some scratches, dings whatever just enjoy them for why they exist

Impressive, you’ve had a Tacoma for 42 years since they’ve been around for 30 years.

I agree with you, I like my Tacoma and drive and enjoy it everyday. For my experience, I’m happy with the almost 19 mpg in City driving that I get. I love the 6’ bed no other mid size truck has - hauled drywall sheets, fence posts, 2X4’s and cedar shingles etc. just in the past week. 15,000 miles in my first 14 months.
Sure there is a couple quirks that I’m disappointed in for my first Toyota but overall happy. (lacking a trailer brake controller and how easily the interior plastics scratch are my two gripes).

My 2024 Taco is one of the nicest trucks that I have ever driven or owned, so the endless complaining about them seems strange. Could they be better? Of course, but in today's world that is going to cost you!

I agree with @Lando that the non-halo trims need better interior materials and that they should all have at the very least an easy way to hook up a trailer brake controller. But bottom line they really are great trucks and they look sweet in any trim.
