Thanks. And if you just want to change out your grill, making that adjustment is super simple. Takes less than 5 minutes. Most people use an adjustment of +165. No need to put tape markers down or anything.

The tape and lines are used to recalibrate all the cameras together, incase they are off from factory.
Can confirm. 165 seems to be the sweet spot. I was driving around after my heritage grill swap for several months with misaligned camera. It made the the backup mode and side view askew… kinda bugged me and I finally took the 5 minutes in a square parking space. It never looked perfect in the adjustment menu, but 165 seemed to be the best. Now everything seems fine.

FYI My service menu would not go away after I got it adjusted and saved and restarted, and I couldn’t get out of the service mode. I just drove it home and parked it and when I came back a couple hours later it was fine.

Is it +165 on the right side of the screen for the height adjustment? There's a lot of individual adjustments here that I see. Just want to make sure

generally, yes. ~ "up" 160 to 165 is working for most people. It depends on your wheels, trim level, lift, etc.

When doing all the cameras, I got better alignment of the corner "crosses" by also doing selective height adjustments (they are not equal). Changing the lift/height number zooms the camera in/out.

Help! I have a brand new 2025 Tacoma Off Road and I noticed after I got home the back up camera grid lines were missing. It seems like the cameras were not calibrated from the factory correctly. I found this thread which seems to be the most promising. I also noticed with this issue some of the other cameras angle options are greyed out. I followed this thread but got stuck.

When I get into the camera settings and choose View Adjustment, I am taken to a screen that tells me to input information through Tech Stream.

I called the dealership, took the truck into the dealership service center and they connected Tech Stream to the truck and still couldn’t figure this out. They have a ticket open with Toyota. Help!!!!

I'm being annoying. But just to be perfectly clear.

What I have circled in red is where the +160 up to +165 change that people are making correct? As in not those other values on the left side of the screen.

No, that's the lift/height adjustment that will zoom the camera in/out.
The adjustment you want is the up+ arrow that current reads zero. You'd send that up to the value.

That said, if this is a live image of your vehicle, your crosses look pretty aligned already.

Take note that if you're working any of the cameras, what the left side UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT arrows do changes... it's all about the installation angle of the camera. so even in the tech instructions they tell you to play with each direction to understand which moves the camera in which direction, then make the necessary adjustment accordingly.

The image i showed above, is actually the image supplied on this threads original post. I was just using it for context of my question.

I did the grille swap to TH\Heritage grille from RAVE and used Gurveys camera bracket. Im guessing by doing that thats why these lines here from the front camera arent lining up straight on the overall image? So I was trying to get clarity where on that diag screen i actually put the +165 adjustment.

Correct. If your lines aren't matching, or when you roll up to a stop stripe, the image is broken/misaligned from the edges to the middle, this is the adjustment you need to make. For me, since in order to not lose the guidelines I had to set up the entire lines and crosses, I went ahead and adjusted all the cameras for better total alignment. Which also then, if all the blue alignment markers fit within the red target boxes, allows your blue and yellow line guides to be available.
