Thanks! I read that we should run the truck for a few miles in 4HI every month to keep the parts lubricated. Thoughts on that?

I do that. Just make sure you are on a straight road with no hard curves or turns for the period in 4x4.

I’m hearing so many conflicting info on 4X4.
I’ve read to only use 4HI in rain, snow, dirt, or any type of loose road surfaces.
Then a dealer service advisor tells me that with the modern transmission it is not necessary to go 4HI or Lo until you need it.

I’ve been using 4hi on the dry pavement straight driving less than 55 mph straight for up to 5 miles every month.
