Independent/non sponsored review: I Didnt see a review on this so I will give my first impressions on this AEM drop in dry filter. Material seems almost exactly like the AeF Pro Dry Drop ins ive used on my G37. I have been driving with it for about 2 weeks , mixed driving city, highway and mountain.

MPG: ~2+ MPG boost . noticeable difference, kind of what you would hope for and expect with a filter like this.
Power/Throttle Response: noticeable increase in throttle response at all RPMs but especially off the line and at around 3k. Probably placebo but it feels like it has more power overall even in normal mode.
Intake sound: maybe a little more engine noise (the good kind) at lower speeds and audible turbo spooling but nothing drastic here and gets drowned out by road noise >30 MPG.
Final verdict: This seems to be a worthwhile add on for the MPG and throttle response alone, then you talk about savings on paper filters. I was worried about particulates but the data shows paper filters being only marginally better than the AEM Filter. With the frequency I change my oil, I don’t see this being an issue.
