The windows roll up fine. The auto roll down is not triggered once they are seated.
There is only some noise when the windows are cracked, but no sound with windows all the way up.

I installed the AVS ones about a month ago so I could leave my windows cracked in the Florida heat, but then I got tons of alerts that my windows are down.

I don't have any road sound from them while they're up. if they're cracked there's a slight whistle, but I think that's true with all rain shades. Windows function fine.

I’ve usually had the stick on ones with no issues. Many years ago I had in channel ones for my Ram but I found they made a “thunk” when they went up. And I feel they were scratching the glass. I am still deliberating what to get for my Tacoma.

I used the WeatherTech on my Grand Cherokee for years and love them. Otherwise rain comes in the slanted doorsill. No real noise... c'mon, you are driving a truck! Kidding.

Just put them on Trailhunter and same wonderful experience. Life is better and will never be the same.

Are you still getting the alerts a year later? wondering if people with the weathertech vent visors are having this same issue

Is there any major difference between weather tech and avs in-channel design? Had wether tech on a previous vehicle with no issues, they were great.

weathertech covers further to the front by the sideview mirror and comes with clips to help hold the visor in place along, while avs is just the adhesive tape holding the visor up the channel
