I know this topic has been raised several times. Just hoping for any updates. I’m one the unlucky few who got the dreaded pop/click from the iso seat directly in the back over any bump essentially. Took it to the dealer twice with no luck. First visit they said there’s nothing wrong with it, and recommended I bring it back when the Toyota engineer is on site. So I did that, and he similarly blew it off after they had my truck all day. It’s a shame because I love the truck otherwise. But it’s really bad form that Toyota refuses to own this issue on a basically 70k truck. I even asked if I could just buy a new iso seat because it got to the point I started shopping around for other vehicles, as this is my daily driver. 2025 TRD Pro Taco. Thanks all.

I posted about this long ago. While my dealership acknowledged the clunking, they said they had no idea…..never seen these seats before. I’d say over time, the clunk has lessened but not totally gone away.

I had a popping noise coming from drivers side seat bolster when getting in and out of my pro, then other noises started when the front of seat was on lowest level when my weight sifted while seated in seat, not going over bumps. I could see behind side panel, material and hook clips looked out of place compared to passenger side. Took it to dealer and they removed side panel and adjusted clips and that fixed it. But the side panel around the recline lever has a gap compared to other seat, I guess side panel is not complete seated correctly but noise is gone.

Did your noise sound like this?

Mine were what the tech said was loop clips that had come undone. They were behind the panel where the seat controls are. You could see the difference in the passenger seat when looking under them. You could see seat fabric not tucked up tight like on the drivers side because of the clips. Also it started when I would get into seat, it would make a popping sound, then it started making more sounds when I moved around in seat, like when my weight shifted. I haven't had a problem since tech fixed the clips, no noise at all. This started when I 1st took delivery.
