Do these maintain the factory tailgate buttons built into the tail light? I checked the listing and did not see any specification besides lighting.

I can see this working well with certain colours, not all. I don’t think they’d go well with my Solar Octane but if I had a white one or even a blue one it looks good.

I agree. They look like cheap ebay lights. But the color change is nice. I've always felt amber colored turn signals are more visible than red.

The Z06 Corvette had clear lenses like this, set them off from the normal Stingray. GM found out that they couldn't sell them in Europe because there was a law there that stated that all taillight lenses had to be red.

My truck does come with them, but based on the photo your lights do not
