Flowmaster FlowFX downturn dual exit.

As promised. I'm having issues trying to upload driving videos. I'll keep trying, may have to do in a new post. My option on this exhaust is that it doesn't sound different from any other generic muffler you'd put on. Super deep. Not sure it's my thing. I'll probably replace it. I do like the look of the downturn tips though.

I think the issue is each video can only be 25 Mb or so. Anyway, hope these help anyone.

Oh sorry, I didn't think to put that. It's the Flowmaster FlowFX dual rear exit downturn.

I know video clips don’t do justice especially in the sound department but that exhaust doesn’t really do it for me. I think AWE exhaust is king so far in terms of good sound from our 4 bangers. Thanks for posting the video clips and it did help me narrow my decision even more.

Alright folks, after impatiently waiting and a very easy install process, here's a couple short clips I captured today in the 6M. Hard to do with just a phone, my GoPro was dead, I'll eventually get better.

I'm super happy with it. There's zero drone, it's overall a very quite exhaust unless you're pounding on the gas.

Videos do not do it justice. Yes, it sound like a typical i4, but it sounds so much more better in person. You'll never get a few pop bangs once in a while, but nothing overwhelming.

Sorry for the spit, was a little joke for my buddies lol. This is a cold start right after install.



I tired to take the parking brake off and revving her in first to reach redline, didn't realize the (stupid) electronic parking brake reapplied it's self. Hate electronic parking brakes.



And here's the best pull video I can get. 1st to 2nd, little tire chirp. I'll try to get better clips on my next rotation off work.

I got some pretty nice footage on the GoPro today .. or sound rather.

I'm going to send it to post and throw together a little video of the AWE on the 6 speed manual and post it here.

Even I was a little shocked of the sound, I'm used to in cabin, obviously, and it's hard to hear all the tones and little pops and bangs.

Alright, I compiled some footage. The GoPro don't really give it justice, almost a little more muffled than it actual sounds, but will definitely give you an idea. The little pops and bang you get sometimes shifting up or downshifting can be heard throughout the video, although once again a little muffled.

I know somewhere in the 15gb of footage I took, I captured a really loud pop downshifting from 3rd to 2nd but I couldn't find it.



Here's some in-cab driving. With the sunroof cracked and the rear windows cracked. Virtually no drone.

Thanks for uploading those videos, i think they will be really helpful for everyone. If you want an aggressive exhaust i think AWE is where it’s at. I ended up returning that flowmaster exhaust (the drone zone) and got the Magnaflow Overland. For me, it’s perfect. It’s very mild and adds a good tone, very quiet in the cab.

Much agreed. I've had flowmaster in the past and they can very very droney exhuasts. Never had an issue with Magnaflow though.

Yes, the AWE is definitely aggressive, not Borla aggressive, but aggressive lol I can hear it in the cab (more than the video really tells) but it isn't overpowering. I'm still able to have conversations, play my music at the same levels, etc. I find it's get more quite at higher RPMs which is unusual for me, but no complaints.
It's aggressive when it comes to cold starts and the little pops and bangs you'll get though.
