Let's Talk About Skidplates

I installed the Land Cruiser skid plates because I liked that they say "TOYOTA"

PART NUMBERS
Land Cruiser Front Skid ("TOYOTA" Logo): PT228-60242
Transfer Case Skid (HYBRID ONLY): PT228-35247
Transfer Case Skid (NON-HYBRID): PT228-35248

Rear Diff Skid: PT228-35242

Was this installed on a TRD OR 6ft bed trim? I’m digging this look. Was going to get the TRD pro skid plate but this sick.

Turnermier, did you also get this piece when you ordered the LC skid plate? I have no idea where this goes on my SR5.

I have tried it. It's too short and doesn't marry up to the front plate.

I've reviewed the link you posted before. In post #19 someone asks to see how the two match up to each other but he OP never responded. That's also what I'm looking for.

I just did this with my Hybrid.
Front plate PTR60-35240
Trans plate PT228-35247

They overlapped, but trans mounted with ear tabs and 4 bolts. Front plate was over it and used 6 bolts. They did not share bolt holes.

Not sure if ypu can see but trans bolts just fit under front plate.

I went with Miller Cat for engine and catalytic converter. My full hoop Ironman 4x4 bumper came with a front skid plate that is uber heavy duty.

There are two holes an inch apart going from front to back on both sides of the underbelly about even with the front of your tires about 30” apart from side to side. That brace goes there and then your skid plate attaches to that.
